Baking soda and aluminum often cause irritation and rashes. We find that there isn't a need for either of them in our deodorants.
We use Candelilla wax in our stick deodorant. A bee friendly wax (eliminates the pressure on our precious honey bees!) that's made from organic Candelilla leaves and is an excellent alternative to beeswax (eliminates any potential allergies associated with bees too). And it doesn't clog pores like beeswax. Win win with this amazing wax.
Our spray deodorant contains beneficial organic magnesium oil with all its amazing health benefits; like bone health, nerve and muscle function ... the list goes on.
If you're new to the natural deodorant world, there's a detox process that happens when you stop using commercially made, toxin laden deodorant and antiperspirant. It'll take about a month or more ... sometimes up to three months for your body to adjust to the new way of life! I call it "withdrawal" from all the toxic chemicals in commercial deodorant.
You'll temporarily experience stinker underarms and you may have the need to reapply an extra time or two during this period until you're clear from the toxins. I found that using our spray (I kept it with me during detox time) as a refresher spritz now and then really helps. Your pores will open and your body will start to get back to the way it should have been pre commercial deodorant.
